Hovione established the Patronage Fund in XXXXX, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting social good. The fund, which counts members of the Villax family as part of the Patronage Committee reviewing applications from charitable organizations. These organizations submit proposals for social projects, educational or humanitarian aid initiatives that align with the fund's goals. Through a rigorous review process, the Patronage Committee selects projects with the most significant potential impact and allocates resources to help them achieve their objectives. This demonstrates Hovione's commitment to social responsibility and its desire to contribute positively to the communities in which it operates.

What type of funding is provided by Hovione?
Organizations or individuals may request support that align with Hovione’s values and meet the segments and donation categories.
How much money can I apply for?
There is an annual budget that is approved by the Hovione Global Leadership Team. The intention is for multiple smaller projects.
Can I apply for Corporate Sponsorship of an event?
Hovione do not sponsor events; the application must meet the segment and categories listed.

Can I apply for financial support for projects outside of Portugal?
Hovione provides support to local organisations in Loures and Lisbon areas but will also consider applications from with Portugal.
How will I know if I have been successful?
You will be contacted by a Hovione representative upon the award or declination of your application
When is the money paid?
Hovione works in financial years starting April 1. Applications are reviewed in three windows per year. April 1 – June 30 | July 1 – October 31st – November 1-January 31st. The final window will only be used there is budget remaining. If you are successful, paid within 45 days of the notification.
I’ve been awarded money in the past, can I still apply.
Yes, Hovione welcome repeat requests but each application will be judged on merit and impact.
